At St. George's College, Aruvithura, we believe that mental health and well-being are essential for academic success. We are committed to providing our students with the support and resources they need to thrive, and our counseling services are an integral part of this commitment. We encourage all students to take advantage of our counseling services if they need them, and to reach out to our counselor for support whenever they need it.
Our counselor is available to meet with students upon request, and she is trained to provide support on a wide range of issues, including stress management, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, time management, and career guidance, among others. Our counselor offers a safe and non-judgmental space where students can talk about their concerns and work towards finding solutions that work for them.
At the start of each academic year, we conduct an introductory class where students are introduced to our counseling services and given an overview of the support available to them. This class provides students with the opportunity to learn about our counselor's role, how to make an appointment, and what to expect during a counseling session. It also covers important topics such as mental health and stress management, and provides students with resources and strategies to manage their well-being effectively.
