Students and faculties of department of media studies were involved in the production of interview series of medical professionals of Mar Sleeva Medicity hospital, Cherpunkal. The interviews were shot on multiple cameras and the entire production process was engaged by students of mass communication. The interviews were telecasted in SGC Community TV Channel as well as YouTube in the month of January and February, 2020. 


Students of BA Mass Communication and Journalism participated in a survey regarding the Pala constituency bye- election for NEWS 18 TV channel on September 7, 2019. Students collected data from natives with the help of questionnaires’. They also shot visuals of the survey to prepare a promo video of the TV program. 
Students of BA Mass Communication registered as volunteers for ANERT renewable energy promotional campaign, organized by Kerala State government on November 6, 2019.


Students of BA Mass Communication and Journalism produced two documentaries on the topics, ‘bore well hazards in India’ and ‘Surviving natural calamities in Kerala’ in the month of January 2020.
Students of BA Mass Communication and Journalism published a campus newsletter titled ‘Asidhara’
