The association of department of Media Studies 'Fifth Estate' plays a huge role in advocacy and community-building on campus. Fifth Estate has been instrumental in nurturing creative interpretations of students from the time of its inception. The department association office bearers are elected every academic year, who maintains a collective responsibility in bringing out the unseen talents of students through various activities like media fests, photography and short film competitions, debates, social service campaigns etc. Every year the association program is inaugurated by a celebrated media personality.
