Students Association

Student associations play a vital role in moulding the multifaceted skills of students. The Department Association, SWAT (Students Working for Advanced Technology)  started in the academic year 2014. All students of the department are part of this association. Each year student representatives are selected as office bearers of the association. Every year talks, seminars and workshops are conducted on the aegis of students association. Different Competitions, Cultural events and special day observations are also a part of association activities.

SGC KBA Innovation Club

Kerala Blockchain Academy Innovation Club (KBAIC) is an initiative by Kerala Blockchain Academy (KBA) to help students from academic institutions across the country to explore deep into the potential of blockchain technology. KBAIC provides an opportunity for partner institutions to work closely with experts and experiment with the latest advancements. Department started KBAIC in the year 2022 for helping students explore the field of blockchain.

The Google Developer Students Club (GDSC) is a dynamic community that serves as a hub for aspiring developers, fostering innovation and collaboration in the realm of technology. Committed to empowering students with the latest in Google technologies, GDSC organizes a myriad of events, including workshops, coding competitions, and guest lectures from industry experts. Our GDSC provides a platform for students to enhance their skills in areas like web development, mobile app development, machine learning, and more.

FOSS Cell

The Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) Cell at our department is a vibrant community dedicated to promoting the principles of free and open-source technologies and collaborative development. With the generous support of the International Centre for Free and Open Source Software (ICFOSS), our FOSS Cell serves as a hub for students interested in exploring, learning, and contributing to open-source projects. Through a series of engaging workshops, hackathons, and collaborative coding sessions, the FOSS Cell provides a platform for students to delve into the world of free and open-source software.
