Internal Quality Assurance System

     Internal Quality Assurance Cell has a pivotal role in defining, planning, and monitoring quality assurance and quality enhancement. Quality enhancement being a continuous practice, IQAC serves as an integral part of an institution's system in realizing quality enhancement and sustenance. IQAC attempts to develop a conscious, vibrant and consistent mechanism to enhance, mobilize and promote a culture of quality.

Academic Audit is an IQAC driven model of self reflection and peer feedback for quality improvement and excellence in teaching and learning to ensure students’ success. An internal academic audit is conducted by every Department in six months and there is an annual academic audit conducted by IQAC in which each Department has to produce an academic report and supporting documents. The Departments promptly report the progress in accordance with the year plan, attendance of the students, research activities of the faculty including major and minor projects and publication of papers in peer reviewed journals to the IQAC. The results of the audit are discussed with external experts and the suggestions are informed the concerned staff for improvement.
