Admission of the B.Com degree programme shall be open only to candidates who have passed the Plus Two or equivalent examination recognized by this University with Book- keeping and Accountancy and any two of the following subjects, viz., 1. Commerce 2. Commercial Correspondence and Commercial Geography 3. Economics 4. Life Insurance with Salesmanship 5. Banking with Secretarial Practice 6. Business Studies 7. Mathematics 8. Computer Science / Computer Applications 9. Informatics Practice & Management 10. Informatics Practice 11. Management 12. Accountancy as optional under Part III of the Examination. OR To have passed Plus Two or equivalent examination recognized by this University with other subjects under Part III optional subjects provided they have secured 45% of the aggregate.


Admission in merit seat will be through CAP by online registration. www.cap.mgu.ac.in . Management Quota and Community Quota application forms and prospectus can be had from the college office. Application form should be neatly and legibly filled and submitted to the office on or before the prescribed date. Incomplete applications will be rejected. Photocopies of the mark lists of the qualifying examinations and conduct certificate should be attached with the application. Merit list and date of interview will be published on the notice board. Applicants should attend the interview with father / guardian along with relevant documents irrespective of whether the intimation card is received or not. Subsequent vacancies will be filled on the days fixed by the Principal and published on the notice board. Admission is ensured when all fees are remitted. The principal reserves to himself the right to reject admission to any student without as signing reasons. UGC REGULATIONS ON CURBING THE MENACE OF RAGGING IN HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS, 2009 (Under Section 26 (1) (g) of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956) F.1-16/2007 (CPP-II) Dated 17th June 2009. Applicants are adviced to keep sufficient photo copies of their qualifying certificates. The orginal certificates submitted in the office will not be return to them before the end of the course.
